Important to Know

If you're 21 or older in Ohio and fail your first driving (road) or maneuverability test, you must take a 4-hour abbreviated adult class (online or in person).

Option #1:

4 hours Behind the Wheel (BTW) with Care 2 Drive Driving School, a licensed driving school

Upon completion of the Care 2 Drive 4-hour abbreviated adult class (online or in person) + 4-hour BTW Package, students will receive an official Certificate of Completion, which can be submitted to the BMV to retake the driving test. No affidavit

OR

Option #2:

4 hours of practice driving with a licensed adult + affidavit

You can take the 4-hour abbreviated adult class (online or in person) through Care 2 Drive, then complete 24 hours of behind-the-wheel driving and keep a driving log with a licensed adult (21+) with a maximum of 4 hours per day. Then, complete and notarize BMV Form 5789 (24-hour affidavit) to retake the driving test.
